The FBI Infragard Birmingham Members Alliance, the Homewood Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Birmingham Division, are partnering to bring the first of four very important Threat Preparedness Workshops to Central Alabama.

The first workshop in the series, Protecting Our Houses of Worship, is a daylong conference focusing on active shooter preparedness training, hate crimes, and workplace violence as they relate to our churches, synagogues, temples, and mosques.

The morning session will be facilitated by the Department of Homeland Security and will focus on Active Shooter Preparedness training.

The afternoon session will be presentations and discussions led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation focused on hate crimes, workplace violence and civil rights violations.

The workshop is free and open to the public.  Lunch will be provided.  Seating is limited.
